The Brother HL 2140 was designed to be used for home usage as well as small businesses. Actually what matters most is your PING...the time delay...lower is better as you know...Speed only helps so much...Most good Modems like say Motorola have plenty fast enough speeds (1gb per second) for gaming online...I have a 120kbps connection (ISDN speed on cable lite using a Motorola cable modem) and still get a ping average of 50-100 on most servers...yea with that little bit of bandwidth...what's my secret???
